BGCF365, Commerce Lexington and Lexington Urban League YP Announce the 250Lex Forward Bash: A Celebration of Lexington’s Future

Blue Grass Community Foundation’s BGCF365, Commerce Lexington, and the Lexington Urban League Young Professionals are excited to announce the 250Lex Forward Bash, a free community event on Tuesday, September 9, from 4-7pm at The Burl.

Hosted by BGCF365, Commerce Lexington and Lexington Urban League Young Professionals, and made possible by generous support from the 250Lex Commission, the 250Lex Forward Bash is part of Lexington’s year-long celebration of is 250^th anniversary. Designed for community-minded young professionals, and the young at heart, the event invites attendees to celebrate Lexington’s rich history and share ideas for moving the city boldly into the future. It will feature live music from DJ Forerunner and the Bedford Band, along with food, drinks, games and networking opportunities.

“As we celebrate Lexington’s 250th anniversary, it’s important to include voices that will help shape the next 250 years,” said Eunice Beatty, co-chair of the 250Lex Commission. “We turned to BGCF365, Commerce Lexington and the Urban League Young Professionals because these organizations represent the energy, creativity and commitment of Lexington’s emerging leaders. The 250Lex Forward Bash is a celebration, but it’s also a space for connection and vision.”
