Franklin County

The Franklin County Community Fund is a permanent charitable resource that supports local causes and organizations.  

A local advisory board puts donations of all sizes to good use by making grants to meet the needs and vision of the community. They partner with individuals, businesses and nonprofits to make Franklin County a better place to live, learn, work and play. 

In the past, we have contributed to, and collaborated with, the following projects:

  • Parks and Recreation Christmas Tree
  • Wanda Joyce Robinson Scholarship Program
  • Kings Center in collaboration with Franklin County Rotary Foundation
  • Franklin county Council on Aging
  • Franklin County Humane Society
  • Mission Frankfort Clinic
  • Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Frankfort – 3 year pledge
  • Give Me Shelter
  • Save the Grand Theatre – Voices from the Balcony
  • Family Circle – Fast Track Program
  • Grant to the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation
  • Established the Franklin County Flood Relief Fund
  • Offered a $5,000 challenge match for the Frankfort Feeds Fund
  • Annual support of local organizations participating in Bluegrass Gives
