Rowan County

The Rowan County Community Fund is a permanent charitable resource that supports local causes and organizations.

A local advisory board puts donations of all sizes to good use by making grants to meet the needs and vision of the community. They partner with individuals, businesses and nonprofits to make Rowan County a better place to live, learn, work and play.

In the past, we have contributed to, and collaborated with, the following projects:

  • Sparked the launch of fundraising for the Rowan County Park (Harry T. Clark Park) by committing $12,500 and are still leading the way for others to help make this park a reality
  • Provided 45 ChromeBooks for Rowan County students to assist with virtual learning
  • Granted $83,517 to nonprofits and small businesses during COVID-19
  • Secured the funding to complete the Rowan County Farmers Market Pavilion
  • Granted to Morehead Gateway Helping Hands & Rowan County Historical Society
  • Annual support of local organizations participating in Bluegrass Gives

Start where you are. Use what you have. Give what you can.

We encourage you to donate now and make a gift that supports Rowan County in perpetuity. We accept a wide range of assets, providing you the ultimate flexibility in charitable giving.

Your donation may be eligible for a tax credit! Learn more about the Endow Kentucky Tax Credit.

“My wife and I have supported the RCCF for many years now because I know the power remains in the community it serves. This allows for on-the-ground, highly impactful, local, effective use of our resources.”
